Introduction of FTTH's projects with Sytex
The projects of FTTH / FTTX have a main difficulty which is handling a large volume of activities and materials in the field. Thousands of boxes and for each one: pictures, measurements, materials and coordinates, are a nightmare when it comes the time to send those assignments to the field team and confirming that everyone of them is executed correctly. The ability of real-time monitoring of each activity improves the quality and speed of the deployment, which is the key to speed up the commercialization of the network. In general, they are projects where we will have many people in the field, hundreds or thousands of network elements to install or maintain, materials management and a deployment's plan to fulfill.
Sytex allows the monitoring of each activity in the field in real time, the tracking of materials from its arrival at the warehouse to the installation and the control of the information of the network and its interconnections. All the assets that make up the FTTH network, such as CTO, PFS, PFP boxes, feeders, poles, splices, OLT and POP must be stored in a reliable base to later schedule activities on them.
Sytex allows you to have a single record of the entire network, storage in the cloud avoiding any loss of information and guarantees availability in real time for the entire organization. The installation, certification and maintenance activities will be associated with the network elements, each one identified with a unique code and with its detailed properties.
A flexible tool such as forms in Sytex, allows you to create templates for any type of activity and then assign the forms massively to our resources. The form is received and completed from the APP in the field so that later, it will be controlled in the office through the desktop version of Sytex. Also from the desktop, it will be possible to keep track of a large volume of jobs through map views and reports. Additionally to that, we make project data available to connect with other reporting tools.
Forms for each activity
It is possible to create forms templates for different operations and their handling is very intuitive. The diverse number of types of questions to shape a document such as location, pictures, videos, audios, text, QR code, NFC reading, among others, allows multiple scenarios to be considered to record information.
A good template design will be essential to guide the field staff in their tasks, they will be able to meet their objectives step by step without omitting details and advance to the next job. Finally, thanks to instant synchronization we can control work from the office to request corrections or evaluate progress.
Preventive and corrective maintenance from the app
The field team receives the assignments to maintenance and reports the execution. Management of multiple contractors, and in turn multiple users in each one. Each network element is geolocated on the map allowing the user to take the closest assignments to its position. You can also identify the codes of the closest boxes.
Sytex allows you to control the execution of each activity and store all the information that arises from maintenance.
